Saltus Den Area

Saltus Den Area is a bid area filled with forest that had lots of dens in it, It is not to far from the lake in which Insulam Pack is in and it is right next to one of its hills in its territory.

The pure white wolf that was known as, IceFur, walked into the depths of a Forest area that was filled with tall trees. Somewhere there was a den located within the forest. The white male wondered in these locations with his muzzle held high. His icy blue eyes projecting around the place. "Over there looks like a comfortable spot. I hope that looks like a den" IceFur said to himself. It had been months since he had dispersed from his old pack: The IceFall Pack. Memories of his family flashed through his mind. As he came to a huge rock place that could be considered a den. It was big enough to fit any wolf who so wished to make himself or herself at home. IceFur walked up to the designated place and allowed himself to perch upon the very spot he so wished to have to himself. But he was kind enough to let others join him within the den. "Don't mind me... I'm just relaxing here" he said in his fairly deep voice, as he began to place himself firmly on the ground, curling his tail around himself.

Lady Willow padded over into the trees till she saw a wolf on the ground she backed away but was curious and she looked at him with her blue eyes ' em hello i dont mean to disturb you but are these lands taken ' she asked in a small whispered voice

Blue was sleeping when she heard a wolf walking into the den area, she raised her head as he went into one of the dens and she thought he was a newcomer and didnt mind, so she layed her head back down.

IceFur looked up at a female wolf ( Lady Willow) and his eyes brightened. When he had entered the place, he had felt lonely, like no one would talk to him. His blue eyes happily stared at the cream colored wolf. "Well, hello there. I didn't see you there. These lands are not taken. I can assure you that there will be enough room for you to stay here. Nice color eyes by the way. They look like the same color as mine. Feel free to stay here as long as you like". IceFur motioned for the female to come into the den. "What's your name by the way. My name is, IceFur. But you can call me, Ice, if you really want". He smiled happily as a rush of very cold wind came upon his pure white pelt.

Blue stood up and stretched, then she started to walk up to the new wolves that had just entered her den. "Hello, i am Blue This is my pack, are you newcomers?" She smiled as she glanced at all of them wondering what there names might be.

Virtus looked over at the group of wolfs and he walked up to them quickly not trying to miss out on anything. Then he overheard Blue speaking to them. "Yes, I am Virtus, Nice name Alpha" He bent his head down alittle low and put it back up fast as if he was nodding. Then he turned his head and looked over at the other wolves there, and he sat.

Blue Turned her head and looked over when she saw another grey wolf coming, then as he came closer she looked at him, for he had green markings on him. She was curious but didnt ask were it came from, and then she bent her head not so low in respect back to him. "Thanks, i like your name also" she smiled and sat down, then she followed his head, which was looking at the other wolves.

Lady Willow smiled at icefur but then frowned she never told her name ' o i am very sorry my name is Lady Willow but please just call me Lady ' she bowed her head down to the ground and raised it high with pride she then turned to the other wolfs who had just come out ' My name is Lady Willow feel free to call me Lady ' she bowed her head again smiling . ' may i join the pack here i will prove myself in every way i can '

IceFur smiled at the Alpha. "Yes. You do have a very astounding name. My name is, IceFur. But you can call me Ice". He turned his head to the cream colored wolf. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady. I hope you will like this area just as much as I will". A moment later, IceFur looked over at a grey wolf (Virtus). He smiled at him too. "Thanks a trillion, Alpha. We will most certainly enjoy our times here in this very pack". IceFur's voice was deep but very generous sounding at the same time. He wagged his fluffy tail, happily to be joining this very pack. He knew he was going to love it here.

Blue smiled and looked at Lady as she talked. "I like your confidence in yourself, you all are welcome here" She bent her head down low to the other wolves and smiled as she looked over at another wolf talking named Ice. "I think i will like you all also, you may begin working on your ranks and/or looking at the borders, i am fine if you just want to get to know the place and begin tommorow." She looked over at them and showed them their dens and then she layed down back in the spot she was at earlier.

Virtus was listening to everyone and hope they had heard his name, as Ice looked at him, he gave a slight glance back at her and smiled, then he followed Blue into the den his rank had. He knew Ice was the same rank as him and he was happy he wouldnt be alone, so he called him over to it and began to look at everyone getting confertable in their new pack.

IceFur politely bowed his head in Thanks towards the Alpha. "Thank you very much, Blue. I think I will travel around this place a little bit just to get to know my surroundings a little more. I will get started on things tomorrow when I feel comfortable. I thank you for the time to get us into this pack. I love it here already. I'm going to go explore now if you don't mind me". The pure white male then looked at Virtus who was smiling at him and he smiled back. He knew deep inside that this pack was just the right one for him. Everyone would like him a lot for his attitude towards others was no problem whatsoever. He slowly rose to his paws and began walking around, seeing the many trees and the sunlight that shone through each tiny space there was in between the branches. Although there was snow on the ground as well, IceFur thought that he wouldn't have a problem navigating back to the den area if he ever thought he was lost. Scent was key.

Blue smiled at Icefur who had seemed to be the first to explore and she looked over at birtus who was getting comfertable in his den. She decided she might send a hunting party out later if anyone gets more hungrier.

The pure white male wondered slowly towards a small area in which he could take a look. His blue eyes wondered off and onto various things in the distance, memorizing each and every bit of it. "Okay. This spot leads to the den... Oh that way looks a bit peculiar as well... Let's just hope it's another pathway to safety... I will be able to recognize each and every scent that is founded in these very areas...". He mumbled these words softly to himself, getting every memory deep into his mind. His head moved from south to west and from north to east. "Piece of cake! Scent is key... Scent is key, Ice. Don't you forget that... Memorize each and every one. Notice the smell... The smells will always lead you back. You don't always have to rely on direction..." he said to himself before returning back.

Blue began to rub her back on the ground to get more of her packs sent and she looked out of the den area, were she saw Ice who was far away.

IceFur had returned momentarily to the Saltus Den Area. He allowed himself to lay down. He closed his eyes imagining himself walking back to the den when he was far away, and remembering which way to go. "Scent is key... Scent is key... Scent is key..." a voice repeated in his mind. "Scent is key" Ice said in an almost monotone voice. He then opened his eyes and looked over at the Alpha who seemed to be rolling around, getting scent all over the place. "What a clever wolf" Ice thought to himself. He then started to do the same thing. As he did so, he chanted his phrase. "Scent is key... Scent is key... Scent is key...".

As blue got up to shake the unwanted sents off of her she looked over at Ice and bent her head alittle as a greeting. Then she layed down in the entrance of her den, trying not to get dirt on her fur.

After IceFur had gotten the message into his mind, he felt confident that he could easily remember. He got up and noticed that Blue had greeted him by bowing her head. He did the same in return. He gave a yawn, meaning that he felt tired. He trotted towards the den and layed down, giving the Alpha some personal space, he knew everyone had to have some space to themselves sometimes. He licked his pure white fur pelt and slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

Blue began to think of who she wanted to be her beta, she knew she wanted more wolves first, then decided but she had some of her pack mates in mind. She looked over at them and then at the dirt and kept thinking.

IceFur awoke from deep sleep a while later. He slowly stretched out his front paws and gave a big yawn. "I wonder what everyone else has in mind...? the male said to himself. With the other pack members around, they must have something in mind. He slowly rose and walked out of the den, deciding to explore a little deeper into this wilderness. He took in a deep breath, quickly recognizing the pack's scent. Going back from far ways to the den again was going to be so easy, since that mantra that Ice had so deep in his mind. "Who was it that taught me this mantra?? Maybe it was my mother..." Ice thought carefully to himself. He could almost hear his mother's tone of voice and how she said that mantra to him many times. He kept chanting it as he wondered deeper into the area.

Blue raised her head when she saw Ice wake up and she stood up and stretched and layed back down, she leaned her head against the den side and started to watch him as he started to explore once again.

IceFur wondered a little further into the area. The pack's scent seemed to fade away more and more the farther he went. He began to worry. "Maybe this is how far I should explore. I don't want to loose the pack's scent and be lost forever... That would be challenging". The pure white male turned around and the scent started to increase once again. His heart raced a little as he returned. When he finally came back, he saw Blue watching him and he smiled at that. "I think that's how far I'll explore for one day..." he said as his breathing started to speed up. He took a deep breath, trying to relax himself. Hg then layed down, still breathing deeply. "I'm sorry... I guess it's just the fact that I'm worried about being lost....".

Blue got up and stretched, then she went out of the den area, hoping the wolves were good with out her. She walked up to some of the borders and started to make them and then she saw Ice on her way coming back to the den area. "Are you ok, your not lost are you?" she asked looking at Ice as she sat down.

IceFur noticed the Alpha talking to him. He was able to stay calm but at the same time he was still a little worried. "Oh... Uh... I just lost the pack's scent for a minute when I walked into the woods part. It... It just started to fade away and I thought to myself, okay I'm not going any deeper than that..." the white male answered as best as he could. He closed his eyes for a moment and took an even deeper breath. He slowly let it out. "But... I think I am alright. I just didn't want to be away from this pack and end up with one of the other packs that might kill me... I think that's what I'm afraid of... It's kinda hard to get rid of..". IceFur allowed his head to settle onto the ground as he looked gently into the Alpha female's eyes.
